D. Calloway Whitehead

Cal Whitehead is founder of Whitehead Consulting, LLC, a government relations and public affairs services firm.  The firm provides representation for businesses, professional associations, and other organizations in matters before the Virginia General Assembly, state agencies, and other governmental entities.  In addition to lobbying services, Whitehead Consulting advises and manages client advocacy programs including policy development, political activities, and grassroots mobilization.

Prior to the creation of Whitehead Consulting, Cal was a lobbyist for the Virginia Association of REALTORS®, a 22,000-member real estate professional association.  Mr. Whitehead also served Virginia’s physicians in various capacities during his tenure at the Medical Society of Virginia.  Both associations were regularly ranked in Virginia Business magazine’s top ten most effective lobbying organizations.

A graduate of Randolph-Macon College, Mr. Whitehead holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a Minor in History.  Cal was President of the student Interfraternity Council and his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order.  In 2000, he completed a graduate course in public administration at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Cal was raised in Harrisonburg in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.  He lives in Richmond with his wife Katherine, a certified Montessori instructor, and his daughter.  He is active in several professional and community organizations including the Executive Committee for the YMCA Model General Assembly, the Fundraising Committee of the Virginia Public Access Project, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, Virginia FREE, Opus of the Virginia Performing Arts Foundation, and the Board of Trustees for Zeta Lodge Institute of Kappa Alpha Order.

Hilton W. Graham, II

Hilton W. Graham II has been the Principal of Graham Consulting, LLC, a full service political and public affairs consulting firm since its inception in 2003.  Graham Consulting, LLC specializes in advocacy activities including grassroots advocacy, opposition research, media/press work, and direct lobbying.  Graham Consulting, LLC helps design, shape, and maintain the political framework for professional organizations, political candidates, and issue campaigns.  Currently, Mr. Graham and Cal Whitehead of Whitehead Consulting, LLC work together on a large array of legislative and political projects.

Prior to founding Graham Consulting, LLC, Mr. Graham worked for two prominent lobbying firms and on dozens of campaigns.  His varied positions included field director, deputy press secretary, communications director, campaign manager and general consultant.  Past campaigns and clients have included McDonnell for Attorney General, Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors, Bush-Cheney ’04, Stop the Meal Tax Referendum, Hager for Governor, Coalition for a Greater Richmond, Allen for Senate, and Virginians for Death Tax Repeal.

Mr. Graham studied Political Science and Pre-Law at Virginia Commonwealth University and is a Fellow of the Sorensen Institute of Political Leadership at the University of Virginia.  Hilton serves on a number of community boards and volunteers with various state and national non-profit organizations such as Richmond Parliament and Ducks Unlimited. Hilton and his wife, Mary Farrar, live in Richmond, Virginia.

John Henry Jordan

John Henry Jordan is the Vice President of Operations for Manufactured Housing Enterprises Inc.; a Virginia based Property Management Company specializing in land-lease communities, with properties in many parts of Virginia and North Carolina.

Prior to being involved with MHE, Mr. Jordan spent 15 years in the Facilities Management, Construction, and Construction Management trades, building and servicing Multifamily, Vacation, Commercial and Single Family Buildings.  Mr. Jordan is a licensed Virginia Real Estate Sales agent, and a Licensed Virginia Building Contractor.

A 1985 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, Mr. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English. He was born in Pennsylvania and after graduating from VMI, he and his wife lived in Washington DC and North Carolina before settling in Charlottesville with their two children.
